School Budget Presentation and United Water Hearing Coming This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in New Milford this week

MONDAY: The borough library is open from 10am to 9pm.
TUESDAY: The Planning Board is meeting at 7:30pm at borough hall.
WEDNESDAY: The New Milford Board of Education will be presenting its 2013-14 school budget at 7pm in the David E. Owens Middle School cafeteria. The district has proposed an $30 million budget for 2013-14 with a  $28 million tax levy.Â

At the same time, the Mayor and Council will convene a 7pm work session followed by a 7:45pm public session. The governing body may discussion possible promotions in the police department at borough hall.
THURSDAY:Â The Zoning Board of Adjustment will continue hearing testimony for the United Water property at 7:30pm in a special meeting at borough hall.

FRIDAY: Borough hall and all schools are closed for Good Friday.
THE WEEKEND: Each of the borough's churches will be holding Easter Mass on Sunday from 7:30am through 12:30pm.
