Stolen Street Sign And Shoplifting: New Milford Police Blotter

Here is the full New Milford police blotter for the period between May 12 and 26.

NEW MILFORD, NJ — The New Milford Department Of Public Works reported that a street sign was stolen at the intersection of Jordan Road and Trensch Drive, on May 14, according to police.

There were also instances of fraud and shoplifting complaints in the last two weeks. Here is the full New Milford police blotter for the period between May 12 and 26:

On May 12: At 10:29 p.m., a Trensch Drive resident reported that someone may have attempted to enter their residence.

On May 13: At 9:27 a.m., a Reichelt Road resident reported that her vehicle was burglarized sometime during the overnight hours.

On May 14: At 10:53 a.m., a James Street resident reported that a credit card was fraudulently opened in his name.

On May 16: At 5:06 a.m., a Main Street business reported an unknown male shoplifted from the store.

On May 16: At 1:11 p.m., a 28-year-old female from Westwood and a 29-year-old male from Pomptan Lakes were arrested and accused of shoplifting at the Shop Rite of New Milford. Both parties were released with a return court date in New Milford Municipal Court.

On May 21: At 4:28 p.m., A Lacey Drive resident reported that multiple bank accounts were opened in her name.

On May 24: At 4:51 p.m., A Trensch Drive resident reported that someone opened a bank account with her information. All information turned over to the Detective Bureau.
