'Madagascar 3' To Be Screened In Berkeley Heights Thursday

Plus, third quarter taxes are due for New Providence residents and the Jersey Cares school supply drive continues.

Here's what you need to know today:

“Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” will be screened at Memorial Park in Berkeley Heights on Thursday. The movie will begin at 8:15 p.m. or dusk, and there will be free popcorn and water.

The 2013 third quarter taxes for New Providence residents are due on Thursday. The grace period ends on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013. For additional information about property taxes, visit the borough’s Tax Collector Department page:http://www.newprov.org/TaxCollector.cfm

The film “Quartet” will be screened on Thursday at the Berkeley Heights Public Library. Directed by Dustin Hoffman, this 2012 PG-13 film will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Read more about the film here: http://www.bhplnj.org/film-quartet/

The Jersey Cares Annual School Supply Drive, which collects much needed school supplies for numerous New Jersey children, will run through Aug. 30.
