Mum Sale to Aid Move of Levi Cory House
Historic Restoration Committee sale from Sept. 19 to 22 at Deacon Andrew Hetfield House.

Mountainside's Historic Restoration Committee plans its annual fall mum and plant sale this week.
The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 22 at the historic Deacon Andrew Hetfield House. The committee’s plant experts travel to the grower and hand-select each and every plant for sale.Â
Proceeds from the sale help support the efforts to move the historic Levi Cory House which will take place on Oct. 5.

The Deacon Andrew Hetfield House is located at Constitution Plaza (Watchung Ave., off Birch Hill Road) adjacent to the Mountainside Library. Â
The Mountainside Restoration Committee is a committee of volunteers governed by the Borough of Mountainside whose purpose is to maintain the Deacon Andrew Hetfield House, move to restore the Levi Cory house and collect and save historic information and items from destruction. Â
