New Providence Defeated Mount Olive In Boys Basketball

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ -- The New Providence boys basketball team won their game against Mount Olive in Chatham during the championship game of the Cougar Classic. According to highschoolsports.nj.com Dylan Bedder contributed 27 points and 11 rebounds while Greg Myers scored 12 points as well as five rebound and four assists for three steals. Tyler DeGeorge and Richie Wawzycki added nine points each. During the game New Providence not only had 12 different players scoring points, four of them making one 3 pointer, but the team reached their highest scoring output this season. The final score was 86 to 45.
