New Providence Man Charged With DWI: Police

Police arrested another person on providing a fraudulent insurance card to a law enforcement officer.

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ — A New Providence man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated recently, police said.

Patrolman Nicholas Guerriero arrested Michael Petronellas, 63, following a motor vehicle stop on Central Avenue Dec. 28, police said.

Petronella was booked and released pending a future court appearance, police said.

In related news, Guerriero arrested and charged Abosede Oladoyinbo, 44, of Newark, with providing a fraudulent insurance card to a law enforcement officer Dec. 30, police said. The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle stop on Mountain Ave.

Oladoyinbo was booked and released pending a future court date, police said.
