25-Year Oakland Police Officer Albert Reischel Dies
After retiring, Reischel was an animal control officer for Montague township.

OAKLAND, NJ — Albert Reischel, 74, of Barnegat, and borough police officer for 25 years, died Sunday.
Reischel retired as a detective and subsequently became an animal control officer for the township of Montague, his obituary states.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Barbara, daughter Tara, granddaughter Amelia, brothers John, and his wife Sally, and Joe, brother-in-law Cliff Gennarelli, and his wife Jeanne and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Wednesday. A funeral service and Mass were Thursday morning. Interment is at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
The family asks that memorial contributions in Reischel's memory be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals 424 East 92nd St. New York City, N.Y. 10128.
