A 25-room Mahwah estate on a nearly 50-acre horse farm hit the market recently with a $35 million price tag, making it the second most expensive Bergen County home for sale behind the $50 million Stone Mansion in Alpine.

The 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom "River Oak Farm" estate is listed with Special Properties, a division Brook Hollow Group Inc., a real estate broker dealing exclusively with luxury homes based in Saddle River.

The estate has a soccer field, basketball court, outdoor and indoor pools, a wine cellar, home theater, and two spas, including one in the master bedroom suite, the property description on Realtor.com states.

Even the horses live in luxury with a 20-stall stable, riding arena, paddocks, and private trails. For the horses, there’s a 20-stall stable, indoor riding arena, paddocks and trails, the description states.

The most recent property tax bill was slightly less than $108,000, according to the New Jersey Multiple Listing Services description.

The property is owned by Pride Rock LLC, which shares a Manhattan address with Amy L. Robbins, ex-wife of Larry Robbins, a billionaire hedge fund manager and former Alpine resident.
