Famous Chef Anthony Bourdain Explores Bergen County Sunday Night

Leonia native said he's 'sentimental' for a taste of Garden State cuisine.

Anthony Bourdain will return to the Garden State for the May 31 episode of CNN’s “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.”

The world traveler will stop by Hiram’s in Fort Lee for a hot dog, a cheesesteak in Camden and a pastrami sandwich at Frank’s Deli in Asbury Park.

“I’m sentimental for it,” Bourdain, a Leonia native, told the Asbury Park Press. “The submarine sandwich, the Jersey red sauce, the cheesesteaks, the steamer clams — I love all of that stuff.”
