Dying North Jersey Dog Has Weeks To Live And Needs A Home
Autumn, a Rottweiler, has bone cancer in her knee and chest.

OAKLAND, NJ — Autumn is a smiling Rottweiler who her life outdoors. She was surrendered to a kill shelter when she began limping.
Autumn lost weight and waited in her kennel for seven years before someone from the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge saw her and adopted her.
The nonprofit took Autumn to a veterinarian who diagnosed her with cancer. She has only weeks to live.

"Autumn likely only has weeks to enjoy her happy ending, but we at RBAR see it as a happy ending nonetheless," said Megan Brinster, the rescue's executive director.
RBAR is seeking a foster opportunity for Autumn, including a hospice foster setting, before she dies.
