Here Is How Oakland Voted In Senate, House Races
The blue wave that swept through New Jersey Tuesday reached Bergen County, election numbers show.

OAKLAND, NJ — Democrats control the U.S. House of Representatives thanks to the party taking several seats away from the Republican Party.
Locally, Democrat Rep. Josh Gottheimer, who represents the 5th District, was re-elected to a second term. He defeated John McCann, a powerful Republican lawyer from Oakland.
In the Senate, New Jersey's Robert Menendez was re-elected to a fourth term. Menendez received 164,037 votes in Bergen County to Hugin's 130,558.
