Lillian Theresa Makinson, 93
She enjoyed gardening and sewing and made a lot of her own clothes.
OAKLAND, N.J. — Lillian Theresa Makinson, 93, of Paramus, died Jan. 22.
She was a civilian employee at Mitchell Air Force Base for 12 years and subsequently worked for the Long Island Lighting Co. and Sperry-Rand Corp before retiring.
She enjoyed gardening and sewing and made a lot of her own clothes.

She was predeceased by her husband Milton and brothers Joseph Jr. and William.
She is survived by her children, Linda Asaro, of Oakland, New Jersey, Lewis and Jean; grandchildren Brooke, Ryan, Joseph, Christine and Justine; 13 nieces and nephews and great grandson Jacob.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gifford Funeral Home of Richmond, Vermont. A funeral service will be at the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m.
Arrangements: Oakland Memorial Home, Oakland.
