Neil R. Young, Battled Colon Cancer For 3 Years
Young's work as a research chemist produced several patents over the years.

OAKLAND, N.J. — Neil R. Young died Monday after a three-year battle against colon cancer.
Young was a research chemist. His work led to several patents being filed over the years for the industry.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, sister Gaye, brother Roger and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Oakland Memorial Home Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Young's name may be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance or the Pet Adoptions Through Caring Hands, 26 Lakeside Ave., Pompton Lakes, N.J. 07442.
