Republicans Sweep Oakland Council Race

Here are your 2017 Oakland election results.

OAKLAND, NJ — Both Republicans were elected to three-year terms on the Borough Council Tuesday night.

Challenger Pasquale A. Pignatelli and incumbent Russell Talamini defeated incumbent Sandra Coira and Thomas F. Connolly.

Here are the unofficial Oakland election results:

Republicans
Russell Talamini *: 1,841
Pasquale A. Pignatelli: 1,957

Democrats
Sandra Coira*: 1,667
Thomas F. Connolly: 1,560

Election results are unofficial until certified by the Bergen County Clerk and do not include absentee ballots.
