Oakland Library to Open Spring Storytime Registration on Jan. 22

Enjoy special previews of the programs on Jan. 13 and Jan. 22.

It's springtime, at least in the Children's Department of the Oakland Public Library. 

The library announced they'll be holding registration for their Spring Storytime series, for infants to children ages 5 and up. Registration begins Wednesday, Jan. 22, with special previews on Monday, Jan. 13 at 10:30 a.m. and Jan 22 at 10:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.

The spring schedule includes:

  • Tots Library Club, for infants to 24 months; held Thursdays, 10 to 11 a.m., from Jan. 30 to April 3;
  • Parent-Child Story & Craft Times, for 2 to 3 year olds; held Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m., Jan. 31, Feb. 14 and 28, March 14 and 28;
  • Preschool Story Times, for ages 3 and 4; held Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 to 1:30 p.m., Jan. 27 to March 31;
  • After School Story Times, for ages 3 to 5; held Wednesday, 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Jan. 29 to April 2;
  • PJ Hour, ages 5 and up; held Thursday, 6:15 p.m. to 7 p.m., Jan. 23 and Feb. 27.
