Oakland's John Edwards, 41, 'Will Be Forever Missed:' Family
Edwards went to elementary, middle, and high school in Oakland, his family said.
OAKLAND, NJ — John David Edwards was taking care of his mother in his childhood home when he died on Monday.
Edwards, 41, went to elementary, middle, and high school in Oakland and then moved to attend college at Mommouth University and Penn State University, his family said in his obituary.
Edwards was a technician for Rick's Pool Service for five years.

He was predeceased by his father, James Edwards.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Driesse Edwards, brother, James, and a large extended family.

Edwards was pronounced dead Monday after police responded to a call for medical attention from a family member, police previously said.
Authorities determined that Edwards' death was deemed "non-suspicious," police said. An official cause of death is pending.
