The Rockland Sample Longitudinal study of brain and behavior in middle and later adulthood seeks to understand what factors contribute to healthy aging. Scientists are increasingly recognizing that lifestyle factors such as exercise, alcohol consumption, and social interactions can have an impact on later life brain health. The ultimate goal of this federally-funded project, which includes non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), is to both understand and promote healthy brain aging. If you are between the ages of 38 and 71, you can help us with our research, earn $200, and advance science at the same time! Most meal and travel costs will be reimbursed. The Nathan Kline Institute is conveniently located in Orangeburg, NY, and easily accessible by highway and municipal bus routes. For more information or to participate, call 845.398.2183 or email RocklandSample@nki.rfmh.org or visit RocklandSample.org.
