Santa Claus Visiting Oakland Saturday

OAKLAND, NJ — The fire department will escort Santa Claus around town Saturday, rain or shine.

Santa and firefighters will make the following stops on the north side of town:

• 10:20 a.m. Andrew Avenue and Commanche Trail
• 10:40 a.m. Algonquin Trail and Iroquois Avenue
• 11 a.m. Geronimo Way and Massasoit Trail
• 11:20 a.m. Manito Avenue and Iroquois Avenue
• 11:40 a.m. Hiawatha Boulevard and Mountain Lakes Drive
• Noon Ithaca Place and Seton Hall Drive
• 12:40 p.m. Yale Way and Princeton Terrace
• 1 p.m. Cardinal Drive and Robin Lane
• 1:20 p.m. Allen Drive and Thackeray Road
• 1:40 p.m. Wellesley Drive and Mount Holyoke Drive
• 2 p.m. Calumet Avenue and Seminole Avenue
• 2:20 p.m. Thunderbird Drive and Apache Drive
• 2:40 pm Brandywine Place and Heath Road
• 3 p.m. Crooked Hill and Boulder Run
• 3:20 p.m. Kingsley Evans and River Dell

Santa and firefighters will also make several stops on the south side of town:

• 10:20 a.m. Stone Fence Road and Martha Place
• 10:40 a.m. Grove Street and Nielsen Avenue
• 11 a.m. Ryerson Street and Spear Street
• 11:20 a.m. Dogwood Drive and Dogwood Hill School
• 11:40 p.m. Walton Street and McNomee Street
• Noon Sheffield Street and Hopper Street
• 12:20 p.m. Academy Circle and Walton Street
• 12:40 p.m. Academy Circle and Walton Street
• 1 p.m. Aspen Way to the cul-de-sac
• 1:20 p.m. Grandview Avenue and Jerome Avenue
• 1:40 p.m. Spring Avenue and Hillside Avenue
• 2 p.m. Nokomis Avenue and Morton Place
• 2:20 p.m. Rockaway Avenue and Huron Avenue
• 2:40 p.m. Mohawk Avenue and Lakeshore Drive
• 3 p.m. Second Street and Roosevelt Boulevard

Attendees may bring toys for the Oakland Benevolent Association Local 164's toy drive. Collected toys will be given to Oakland residents in need.
