Oakland Library's Spring Story Times Starts Season with Drop-In Sessions

Early reading program prepares to get Oakland preschoolers warmed up for literacy.

While we cope with the ups and downs of winter, the Oakland Public Library is getting ready for spring.

Registration for the library's Spring Story Times starts Wednesday, Jan. 22, and the session kicks off Jan. 27, running until the beginning of April.

Parents can check out the library offering at special drop-in open story time sessions to be held 10:30-11 a.m. and 3:45-4:30 p.m. Oakland residents between ages three and five and their caregivers are welcome to attend.
