Amazon Fresh To Replace Closed Paramus Fairway
An Amazon spokesperson confirmed with Patch that the store would open, but details on when weren't available.

PARAMUS, NJ — Amazon Fresh, the online retailer's brick and mortar grocery store, will open a location in Paramus, a company spokesperson confirmed Thursday.
The store will replace a closed Fairway Market located in the Fashion Center.
In 2020, Amazon confirmed that another Amazon Fresh store would open in New Jersey, also replacing a closed Fairway Market in Woodland Park. Read more: Amazon Fresh Store Planned For Woodland Park

The spokesperson didn't disclose details of when the Paramus store could open.
Northjersey.com reports that Amazon has 12 Fresh stores in operation, and Bloomberg found that at least 28 more locations are in their queue.

Among the unique features of the stores are Amazon Dash Carts, which allow shoppers to buy groceries without waiting in a traditional checkout line. Another fixture of the stores are "Ask Alexa" kiosks, which utilize Amazon's Alexa technology to over assistance while in the store.
"Amazon Fresh is a new grocery store designed from the ground up to offer a seamless grocery experience, either in-store or online. Customers shopping Amazon Fresh will find a wide assortment of national brands and high-quality produce, meat, and seafood. Plus, our culinary team offers customers a range of delicious prepared foods made fresh in store every day," the company said.
