Beatrice LaBarbiera, 75, Of Paramus, Died Suddenly Friday
She was a founding member of Paramus Project Graduation.

PARAMUS, NJ — Beatrice LaBarbiera, 75, of Paramus, died suddenly Friday.
She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School.
She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church, Hackensack.

She "cherished her immediate family, cousins, friends and communities her dear husband taught and coached in," her obituary states. "She was a deeply caring, well-read, resilient woman who loved life, including her Polish heritage."
She was a founding member of Paramus Project Graduation and the Paramus Independence Day Committee and was a member of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary Committee.

She was predeceased by her husband Peter, sister-in-law Joyce and infant daughter Suzanne.
She is survived by her children, Peter III, and his wife Mary, James, and his wife Ula, Richard, and his wife MaryAnn, Tony and Maria; grandchildren Patrick, Richard, Julia, Vincent, Jake, Nicholas, Johnny, Tess, Grace and Michael; sister-in-law Patricia; nephews Gerry and Matthew and nieces Bonnie and Karen.
Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., Paramus. A funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Vander Plaat followed by a Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Coach Peter LaBarbiera Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund, 281 Dunkerhook Road, Paramus N.J. 07652.
