Bergen County to Host Free Recycling Event

County residents will have the opportunity to recycle e-waste, tires and personal documents.

The Bergen County Utilities Authority will host an e-waste, tire and personal document recycling event.

The event will take place Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Bergen County Community College in Paramus.

The BCUA will accept confidential documents from Bergen County residents such as tax documents and bank statements. Non-confidential documents will not be accepted at the event and can be recycled through the local municipal recycling facilities. The BCUA will accept no more than four boxes or bags of documents weighing 10 pounds each due to the scale of the event.
