Bergen County Posts Budgets For Last Three Years On Website

Bergen County residents can now view how their tax dollars are being spent after the county on Monday posted budgets for the past three years.

New County Executive Kathleen Donovan had made the idea of transparent government a cornerstone of her election campaign.

"The public has the right to know how their money is being spent," Donovan said. "It is the duty of government to be fiscally responsible to the citizens of Bergen County."
