Chopt will open its fourth location in the Garden State - the Outlets at Bergen Town Center.

PARAMUS, NJ – Chopt Creative Salad Company will officially open its newest location at the Outlets at Bergen Town Center on Thursday.

The new 2,500-square-foot 50-seat restaurant is located across from ULTA and will be open from Monday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Launched in 2001, the New York City-based fast casual chain offers a menu of seasonal core salads and build-your-own salad options, along with a rotating selection of salads inspired by different locations.

Currently, Chopt is celebrating all things summer with a limited-time only menu that includes Key West Jerk Chicken Salad, George Summer Cobb and Tex-Mex BBQ Bowl, which are all available until Sept. 17. Chopt also offers more than a dozen dressings made from scratch and freshly brewed ice teas and lemonades.

This is the chain’s fourth restaurant in New Jersey. There are also locations in Florham Park, Princeton and New Providence.

“We are thrilled to have Chopt join The Outlets at Bergen Town Center, rounding out a robust line up of dining,” said Bassam Mhich, VP of Asset Management at Urban Edge Properties. “Their commitment to nutrition, community, and unbelievably flavorful salads will be celebrated by our shoppers, office employees, and neighbors alike.”

The eatery will host a Chopt Gives Back preview day Wednesday, offering free salad with any donation to Wellness in the Schools, a national non-profit that teachers kids healthy eating habits from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Wellness in the Schools will expand to five additional schools in the Garden State this fall, bringing scratch cooking into school kitchens and conducting seasonal cooking classes to show families how to whip up nutritious meals at home. The non-profit aims to reach over 10,000 students in Camden and Trenton.

“Chopt has been an invaluable partner to Wellness in the Schools for over a decade,” said Nancy Easton, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit. “Chopt has supported our growth into 5 markets, and provides our families with delicious, healthy food. Together, we have proven that good health can be contagious.”
