COVID-19 Children's Book, "Don't Forget Your Mask!"

As New Jersey Schools prepare to open next week, whether in-person, hybrid or virtual, the coronavirus is bound to be a topic of discussion in many, if not all, classrooms around the state.

Don’t Forget Your Mask! is the first book in the children’s health series Don’t Forget! 4 kids, an educational resource for parents and teachers.

The book now available for purchase on Amazon, in paperback and Kindle, uses simple rhymes and vivid illustrations to help children understand important vocabulary and facts related to COVID-19, as well as identify many of our heroic essential workers. A discussion guide and glossary are also included.

As a New Jersey Public School Teacher and Paramus resident, I hope this book aids teachers in their transition back into the classroom this September.

Although research about COVID-19 is still changing, as research progresses, the guidelines for safety and supportive resources children need remains the same.
