Downed Wires Close Route 17 In Paramus Thursday Morning
The highway has since been reopened, the Department of Transportation said Thursday.
PARAMUS, NJ — Route 17 northbound was closed at Ridgewood Avenue in Paramus for a number of hours this morning due to downed wires, the New Jersey Department of Transportation said.
In addition to the northbound lanes, two southbound left lanes were also closed.
Detours were set up Thursday morning, but the highway has since reopened.
