Representatives from Greyhound Friends of New Jersey will visit Bergen Community College for the annual Greyhound Adoption Day on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the lobby of the L-wing, Pitkin Education Center, on the College’s main campus in Paramus.
The College encourages members of the public to attend and learn about ex-racing greyhound adoption. Representatives will answer questions about the breed and videos will be shown on racing greyhounds and their treatment.
Greyhound Adoption Day is co-sponsored by the Office of Student Life, the Environmental Club, the Department of Biology and Horticulture, and the Veterinary Technology Club.
