James Montagne, 80, Former Teamsters Truck Driver

An avid storyteller, he is survived by his children, brother and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

PARAMUS, NJ — James Montagne, 80, of Keansburg, formerly of Paramus, died Saturday.

He was a Teamsters truck driver before retiring. He was also an avid storyteller.

He was predeceased by his wife Betty.

He is survived by his children James Jr. and his wife Leonore, Thomas and his wife Joy, Marianne and her husband Frank Steinhauser and Margaret Glunk, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his brother Robert and his wife Judy.

Visitation is Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell. A funeral service is Friday at 10 a.m. at Volk Leber. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories in Washington Township.
