Joan Schifano, Former Reserve Police Officer From Paramus, Dies
Schifano was a reserve police officer in Bergenfield.

PARAMUS, NJ — Joan Schifano, 74, of Paramus died Saturday.
She was a reserve police officer for the Borough of Bergenfield. She also worked as a bookkeeper for TJ Maxx in Paramus before retiring.
She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy.

She is survived by her husband Philip; children Frank and his wife Mary Ellen and Kim and her husband Michael; stepchildren Angelo Schifano and his wife Debbie, Lawrence Schifano, Christopher Schifano, Joseph Schifano and his wife Dorothy and Ralph Schifano and his wife Melody; grandchildren Andrew, A.J., Lauren, Michael, Jonathan, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Kayla, Nicole, Anthony, Bryan, Kristen and Nicolas and great-grandchildren Andrew, Lillian and Hailey.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
