Junior Duo Earn Scholarship to Continue Attending Paramus Catholic
Sabrina Fincher and Justin Santos, Paladin basketball athletes recently earned a scholarship fund from the Inner-City Children Basketball Festival
Paramus Catholic juniors Sabrina Fincher and Justin Santos both received scholarship funding to continue their education at Paramus Catholic High School following the January 6 Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children Basketball Festival at Kean University.
The basketball duo both competed in the tournament with their teammates against Roselle Catholic and Marist high schools respectively with Fincher leading the girls to victory (43-41) while Santos and the boys team fell 50-48.
“All I can say is a very sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and fans,” said Gerry O’Connor, Executive Director of the SFIC. “While this has been a fun event for the Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children, it also gave us the opportunity to promote our mission which is to provide low income families with the financial resources for an educational alternative so their children can attend private and parochial schools in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Union County.”
