Morella Swishes 1,000 Points for Bittersweet Milestone
John Morella became the seventh Spartan in history to join the 1,000-point club
It was a bittersweet moment for senior guard John Morella as he netted his career 1,000th career point and became the seventh Paramus Spartan to accomplish that goal.
The two-year varsity starter took to the Spartans gym for his final home varsity game on Valentine's Day where he sunk a jumper and added his name into Paramus history.
He has now become the seventh Spartan in school history to join the 1,000-point club and second this year following Lady Spartan Brittany Stone.

He finished Thursday night with 1,018 points and will complete his final varsity season on Feb. 21, 5pm on the road at Lakeland High School.
