National Night Out Returns to Paramus Next Week
Annual event is designed to heighten drug and crime prevention awareness.

The Paramus community is invited once again to take part in National Night Out Against Crime next Tuesday.Â
This free and fun-filled annual event, hosted by the Paramus Police Department, is designed to heighten drug and crime prevention awareness, said Det. James Teehan.Â
It's all set to return to the grounds of the Paramus Public Library on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.Â
Rides, giveaways and demonstrations will be among the many features. Community resources such as the Substance Abuse Prevention Committee will be on hand with information. Various local businesses sponsor this annual event.Â
The event will lead into the final Terrific Tuesday concert performance at the Band Shell featuring Radio Nashville which will entertain with their modern country stylings.Â
