New GSP Parking Deck to be Reviewed by Planning Board This Week

MONDAY: NJ Blood Services is holding a blood drive at the Bergen Community College Tech Center from 10am to 4pm. The Board of Education will meet at 7:30pm in the Board Conference Room. 

TUESDAY: For four-hours, the Jewish Community Center of Paramus will host a fully-proctored practice SAT to show students what to expect in a test-like environment. Students will receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance on the test, detailing individual strengths and weaknesses.

WEDNESDAY: Eighth grade parents are encouraged to attend a Parent Orientation at 7pm at the High School.

THURSDAY: The Planninng Board has a 7:30pm meeting to review the Garden State Plaza's Parking Deck project. Approved three years ago by the borough, the Plaza has intended to tear down the existing parking deck next to Neiman Marcus and replace it with a five-level deck for 1,800 parking spaces. The renovations will also allow the Plaza to add approximately 80,000 square feet of retail space as well.

WEEKEND: The Paramus Rotary is hosting its annual Pasta Dinner at the High School, Friday 5:30pm.

On Sunday morning, 9:45-11:15am, the Jewish Community Center of Paramus offers a holiday class for kids to learn story of Purim, sing Purim songs, create crafts related to the holiday and bake their very own hamantashen, nut free and kosher.
