Paramus Catholic's Jabrill Peppers Drafted No. 25 By Cleveland Browns
Peppers' draft stock dropped after it was released Monday that he tested positive for a diluted urine sample.

PARAMUS, NJ — Former Paramus Catholic and Don Bosco star Jabrill Peppers was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the first round with the 25th pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Peppers played three seasons at the University of Michigan. He was a Heisman Trophy finalist this year.
It was a bit of a mystery what position Peppers would play in the draft. He can play multiple positions on both offense and defense. He was a kick-and punt-returner, linebacker, which was his primary position this season, safety, cornerback, running back, wide receiver, and even quarterback in the wildcat formation.

"He can play anywhere. He can do it all. This man can play football, he can play any position," said ESPN NFL analyst Jon Gruden. "I think it is a great pick for Cleveland."
Peppers' draft stock dropped somewhat earlier this week after it was revealed he tested positive for a diluted sample at the NFL combine.

ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that Peppers drank eight to 10 bottles of water because was ill after flying to Indianapolis from San Diego, citing a spokesperson with Creative Artists Agency, which represents Peppers.
"He never failed a drug test in his life, nor tested positive before for any substance," a statement from CAA said.
Peppers won four consecutive state group championships in high school, two for Don Bosco Prep and two for Paramus Catholic.
