Paramus Football Player Transfers From UCLA To Rutgers
Matt Alaimo attended St. Joseph Regional High School. He was the No. 12-ranked recruit in New Jersey coming out of high school.

PARAMUS, NJ — Matt Alaimo, one of the highest rated high school football recruits in New Jersey, transferred from UCLA to Rutgers University.
Alaimo signed his letter of intent to play for the Scarlet Knights on National Signing Day Wednesday, Rutgers announced.
Alaimo, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end, played high school football at St. Joseph Regional High School and won a state group championship.

As a senior he had 44 catches for 671 yards, and seven touchdowns.
Alaimo did not play for the UCLA Bruins his freshman collegiate season.

Alaimo was the No. 27-rated tight end in the country and No. 12 recruit in New Jersey by 247Sports.com.
Alaimo was one of two North Jersey native to transfer to Rutgers Wednesday.
Johnny Langan, who played for Bergen Catholic High School, also signed a letter of intent Wednesday.
