Paramus PBA Hosts Family Fair This Week

Family fun comes to town this week as the Paramus PBA 186 hosts its first fair this week.
The four-day event will feature rides, games, and food from various Paramus eateries including Mangiamo, Let's Yo, The Cupcake Cutie and Dawg Waggin and it will all take place at Paramus Catholic High School on Paramus Road.Â
The fair starts Thursday, Aug. 1 and runs until Aug. 4. Proceeds will go towards the many organizations and individuals the PBA supports.Â

The newly-formed Paramus Historical Commission is growing. Patch plans to update readers on the group's latest efforts to preserve historical sites in town. The commission meets this Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Life Safety Building for those interested in joining.Â
Patch plans to update readers on the new parking situation near Ridge Ranch School. Also the Board of Education may be taking another look into the intersection in front of West Brook Middle School as per the request of a crossing guard who believes the area is not safe for pedestrians, NorthJersey.com reported.Â
The Paramus Planning Board will conduct a solar courtesy review of Paramus High School, Westbrook Middle School and Parkway elementary when it meets Thursday night. Â The Board will also conduct a hearing on proposed signage for DCH Investments on Route 4.Â
