Paramus PBA Plans First Family Fun Fair

Proceeds from the fair will go towards the organizations and individuals the PBA supports.

The Paramus PBA 186 is hosting its first-ever family fun fair, a four-day event which will be held at Paramus Catholic High School next week.

The fair runs from Thursday, Aug. 1 until Sunday, Aug. 4.

There will be tons of rides and games and local businesses are taking part by providing food and Paramus Catholic generously provided the location, said Mike Cebulski, PBA president. Paramus eateries Mangiamo, Let's Yo, The Cupcake Cutie and Dawg Waggin will be on hand with food at the event.

A non-profit 501c, the PBA continuously fundraises which gives the organization the opportunity to give back to the community. Cebulski says proceeds from the fair will be put into a fund and then distributed to organizations and individuals in need.

For the past three years the PBA has hosted a casino night and has raised a total of $30,000 for the Young Survival Coalition which supports women with breast cancer, said Cebulski. Casino night is planned for November this year.

Since the D.A.R.E. Carnival did not come to Paramus this year the PBA thought it would be a good idea to host its own fair this summer, said Cebulski.

The fair runs from 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday and Friday and on Saturday and Sunday will run from 1 to 11 p.m. Each day people can buy wristband for $25 and have unlimited access to all the rides. Individual tickets for rides can also be purchased.
