Farview Ave. Man Charged with Selling Prescription Painkillers to Undercover Cop
Brian Owens allegedly sold Roxicodone to undercover officers during a two-month period

A 50-year-old borough resident was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after allegedly selling prescription painkillers to police over a two-month period.
Brian Owens of North Farview Avenue, Paramus was taken into custody by Paramus Police and the Bergen County Narcotic Task Force following a joint investigation.Â
According to Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli, Owens sold three Roxicodone pills to an undercover officer in late November for $60. Additional sales took place on Dec. 13 and Dec. 18 in Paramus.

Roxicodone is a form of oxycodone, an alternate to other opiate painkillers to manage moderate to serve chronic pain.Â
During his arrest, police located additional Roxicodone pills, numerous prescription pills and heroin at his North Farview Avenue home.

Charged with distribution of Roxicodone in a quantity less than one ounce and possession of heroin, both third-degree crimes, Owens was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
