There were no surprises as unofficial results from the Paramus council race were reported Tuesday night.

PARAMUS, NJ — The polls are closed, and unofficial results have come in for the uncontested Paramus council race.

There are two available seats on the council, so no candidates will be eliminated after this primary contest, but the votes could still show us what to expect. Unofficial vote tallies are as follows:

  • Holly Tedesco-Santos, D — 379
  • Josephine Giugliano, D — 329
  • Ace Antonio, R — 634
  • Robert Kaiser, R — 635

Paramus voters could also cast votes for state Assembly and Senate candidates in the 38th District. Those candidates include:
