Richard J. Turpin, 84, Died Saturday
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers​ Local 102.

PARAMUS, NJ — Richard J. Turpin, 84, of Paramus died Saturday.
He was born in Canada and immigrated to New Jersey in 1952. He and his wife moved to Paramu in 1968.
Before retiring, he was an electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 102.

He was an active member of the Church of the Annunciation and the Holy Name Society.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Josephine, Aloysius, William, Monnie, Thomas and Maude.

He is survived by his wife Eileen; son Timothy; brothers Stephen and Edward; sister Betty Coffee and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is at Vander Plaat Memorial Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service is Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Vander Plaat followed by a Mass of Christian burial at the Church of the Annunciation at 50 West Midland Ave., Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of Charity of New York, Mount St. Vincent Convent, 6301 Riverdale Ave., Bronx N.Y. 10471.
