Rt. 4 Ramps Will Be Closed For Overpass Project
The ramp closures are a necessary part of a plan to replace the Paramus Road overpass on Route 4.

PARAMUS, NJ — Several ramps to and from Route 4 will be closed for two weeks as part of a project to replace an overpass, state Department of Transportation officials announced.
The following ramps will be closed and detoured during the project:
- Route 4 westbound to Paramus Road
- Route 4 eastbound to Paramus Road
- Paramus Road northbound to Route 4 eastbound
The Route 4 eastbound ramp to Paramus Road northbound and the ramp at Paramus Road southbound to Route 4 westbound will remain open.

The closures will begin Friday and be in effect until June 16. The $5 million project is expected to be completed, and the overpass reopened, in the fall.
