ST. MATTHEW’S IN PARAMUS REOPENS
St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Paramus reopened for worship Sunday, September 20 in celebration of the Feast Day of St Matthew.
The Reverend Jacques Girard, Deacon presided as St. Matthew’s resumed weekly Sunday worship services. Major renovations were accomplished this summer by Senior Warden George Hahn during the pandemic imposed hiatus from regular worship. Damage from the hurricane in August has been repaired, including painting the church, construction of a new cross, installation of sprinklers for landscaping and the ordering a new sign to replace the one which was destroyed.
