Tedesco Joins Fray for Freeholder Seat in 2013

Former Mayor James Tedesco is one of five Democratic candidates seeking to run this fall and challenge incumbent Freeholder Republicans

Sitting on the political sideline since 2010, former Paramus Mayor James Tedesco officially threw his hat into the ring as one of five candidates jockeying for their parties March nomination to challenge for a Bergen County Freeholder seat in November.

Tedesco, who spent 11 years in office, stepped down after second term as Mayor following the death of his wife Renee and mother-in-law Theresa B. Marano as well as being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Outside of serving the borough as a councilman and then as mayor, Tedesco is a volunteer firefighter and retired regional manager for PSE&G.
