Victoria Sanson, 91, Paramus Pioneers Club Member

She was president of the Paramus Garden Club in the 1950s.

PARAMUS, NJ — Victoria "Vicky" Sanson, 91, of Paramus died Wednesday.

She an avid gardner, Italian cook, and pianist, her obituary states. She enjoyed playing tennis and racket ball and did so until she was in her 80s.

She was a member of the Pioneers Club of Paramus, the Montvale Bowling Club, and was a former president of the Paramus Garden Club in the 1950s.

She was predeceased by her husband, Christopher.

Sanson is survived by children, Chuck and his wife Gerry, Stephen and his wife Ellen, and Patricia and her husband Anthony; their father and her first husband the late Steve Bartolomeo; grandchildren, Stephen, Andrew Nicole and Renee; and siblings, Theresa, Lee, and Dominic.

Visitation with the family is July 15 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., Paramus. A funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, 234 North Farview Ave., Paramus. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
