'Wire Fire' Closes Part Of Fairview Avenue In Paramus
The road is closed from Madison Avenue to Carlough Drive, but the fire has been extinguished, police officials said.
PARAMUS, NJ — A "wire fire" has closed a portion of Fairview Avenue in Paramus, but the fire has been put out, Paramus police officials said.
No information was immediately available about where the fire started, but Fairview Avenue is closed from Madison Avenue to Carlough Drive in both directions as of 8:39 a.m.
Detours are in place.

Deputy Chief Robert Guidetti said PSE&G officials are on the scene working on the issue.
