Yavneh Academy Returns to Zoning Board, National Night Out This Week
Terrific Tuesday concert series concludes this week after National Night Out.

Coming up this week on Patch
Talks resume this Thursday regarding Yavneh Academy's latest plans to add additional classroom space and parking to its K-8 school campus on Farview Avenue.
Testimony will continue from the Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting in May where an overview of the plans were given. At that hearing, many neighboring property owners aired their concerns that yet another expansion of the school will impact their neighborhood. Traffic and flooding were at the top of the list of concerns shared by Board members and neighbors.Â
The school wants to add five more classrooms in order to meet the needs of its special education students who need to be placed into smaller groups throughout the day for instruction. The plans also call for additional parking which would eliminate the need for staff members to park on nearby side streets according to the project's traffic expert.
