You Can Win Free Donuts For A Year At Duck Donuts Paramus Opening

PARAMUS, NJ — Whether you like them with sprinkles, frosting, smothered with odds and ends or a classic glaze, Duck Donuts has options to choose from. And now they're a lot closer to home.

The fast-growing donut chain is set to open a new Sprout Brook Center location in Paramus on Saturday. This franchise, owned by New Jersey natives Sanjay and Kaushal Patel, joins six others in the Garden State.

Set for an 8 a.m. opening, Duck Donuts is handing out prizes for people who secure early spots in line.

"If you’re the first in line at our grand opening, you’ll be considered a lucky duck! Not only will our first customer get to taste our warm, delicious, and made-to-order donuts first, they will receive a Duck Donuts gift basket, including one FREE dozen donuts each month for a year, a travel tumbler, a coffee mug, a t-shirt, and more," they said on Facebook.

The 100th person in line will also secure a free dozen donuts monthly for a year.

Even with these prizes up for grabs, the owners of this franchise made it clear that the coronavirus pandemic is still at the front of their minds.

"As we open our doors to welcome the community, please keep in mind safety is a top priority for us. At this time, we are following and closely monitoring the local health guidelines to safely serve our guests, including encouraging social distancing and limiting our in-store occupancy," they wrote.

Founded in Duck, North Carolina, Russell A. Digilio started Duck Donuts in 2007. The chain soon expanded outside the Outer Banks, opening franchise locations across the country.
