4k Without Power In Parsippany, Montville
Heavy rain and wind knocked out power to thousands of homes.

PARSIPPANY, NJ — Thousands are without power in Parsippany and Montville as a heavy storm blows through the area.
Down pouring rain and high wind gusts left 2,157 homes in Parsippany and 2,018 homes in Montville without power Monday around noon. JCP&L says Parsippany will see their power back by 3 p.m., while Montville will get it back by 2 p.m.
"Crews are addressing scattered outages due to the high winds and heavy rain across our service area. Our meteorologists will continue to watch the weather closely, and crews are prepared to respond should additional outages occur throughout the day," JCP&L said on their Facebook page.
