Shop Til You Drop, Benefit Parsippany School on Friday

Schools are closed on Thursday and Friday for the NJEA convention.

Get your holiday shopping out of the way, support local businesses and shop for a good cause on Friday. Bring your gold and silver to the All Saints Academy's Holiday Shopping Event. The event features more than 50 vendors and will benefit the school. For more details, go to their Patch event listing. The event will be in the school's gym from 2 - 8 p.m.

All Saints Academy, led by Principal Judith Berg is a school that boasts a Catholic Education coupled with the latest in technology and working closely with the STEM program, said Alicia Bozza, of ASA.

Veterans Day is Monday. Head over to the Parsippany-Troy Hills Free Public Library for a special book sale on American Military History from Nov. 8 - 11. Sets of specific subjects will be available at reasonable prices in addition to the "Bag of Books" at the price of $3 per bag.  (A bag will be provided for you.)

The library will also feature a selection of Biographies and general History. This special book sale is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is available during regular library hours of operation.

In the afternoon at the library, there will be a Movie Matinee: Monsters University (Rated G). Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent and snacks and water will be served. The movie starts at 2 p.m.

There’s an AA meeting from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the Fellowship Hall of Parsippany United Methodist Church. Contact ckeller430@gmail.com for more information.
