Construction Closes Rt. 80 West Ramp, Rt. 287 Access

Construction will close Route 80 West local lanes from South Beverwyck Road to Route 287 and there will be no access onto Route 80 from South Beverwyck Road and no access onto Route 287 from Route 80 West.

This closure will run from 10 p.m. Friday to 8 p.m. Saturday. However, Route 80 express lanes will remain open, said Parsippany Police Chief Paul Philipps.

A detour will be in place directing people to make a u-turn at exit 42a on Route 80 West onto Route 80 East where they can get back onto Route 287.

If you need to get Smith Road, you will need to follow the detour or use Route 46 because the closure also affects the 287 Offramp onto Littleton Road
